The Bombers have a 1 hour radio show here on a Sunday night and as a closet Docker ( but Roo member ) thought I would have a listen.
These bastards are extremely cocky and confident of knocking you off this Friday night.
They reckon they have the easiest final this week by far and were talking themselves up as though it was a formality !

Wait for Sheedy to give you some ammunition which he undoubtedly will ( remember the marshmellow game ).
They were crapping on about their " VAST " finals experience and of course "Lloydy and Hirdy "
One prick said Lloyd will kick 13 goals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Knock their blocks off would 'ya .
I reckon if they watch your great game from Sat.night half of them will be to ****-scared to come !

it doesn't surprise me

this is what he said on afl.com

Pressure all on Freo: Sheedy

The mind games have already started.

Entering his 18th finals campaign in charge at Essendon, coach Kevin Sheedy has predicted the pressure on first-time finalists Fremantle to satisfy a local football public will be huge.

The Dockers host Essendon on Friday night before what will almost certainly be a full-house at Subiaco Oval.

Having called Bomber supporters to arms two weeks ago when Essendon hosted Freo at the ‘House of Horrors’, Sheedy’s men are sure to face a hostile reception in Perth.

Surprisingly, Sheedy told reporters at Windy Hill on Monday that he hadn’t given much thought about the likely ‘payback’ from the WA public.

But he was more expansive when asked about what Fremantle would be going through in the lead up.

“They’ve really built up a Perth-based football team, so I think from that point of view they’d be pretty well under the pump being in Perth,” Sheedy said.

“A Perth team with a lot of Perth players in it - pressure builds up in a town like that where there’s two teams I’d imagine. But only time will tell.”

According to Sheedy, handling the pressure will sit alongside the need to overcome a bruising Western Derby.

“It looked like the House of Pain last match over there between Fremantle and West Coast. There’d be no pain left in Perth, would there?”

Club skipper James Hird was sitting alongside Sheedy and when recalling first finals campaign, conceded it was easy to get ‘wrapped-up in the hype’.

Always the optimist, Sheedy made it clear as he wound-up his media conference that he doesn’t expect the Bombers to be knocked out.

“Is that it guys? Ok, see you next week.”

Oh mate, when the 'beasts from the east' step foot inside the House Of Pain, they will look around the stadium and see nothing but purple...heh, that'd put em in their place. Lil bi-a-tches think they're all that just because this is our first, and like their millionth. No doubt they'd remember the 30 point onslaught we dealt out to them last time they were here. All over again, Dockers will reign supreme. We'll put 5 goals on the board before those fool get their boots tied up, and I'm not joking.
With climpses of Farmer and Cook flashing in our minds, we will come out all-guns-blazing.
Will this be the first time the Bombers have been knocked out of the finals by a WA team?? Heh heh.

Dockers all the way

I have to disagree with Sheedy here.

In their first finals campaign, the public expectation is nil. All the fans are just glad to finally be there, and even though they obviously want the team to go all the way, they will forgive if they get knocked out in week one, chalk it up as a valuable learning experience and look forward to next year.

This time next year, if the Dockers are going into an elimination final again, there will be some pressure and expectation. By the year after, if they still haven't delivered, the heat will be right on. If they haven't won by the year after that, they just change their name to the Fremantle Power.

Bottom line is Essendon could win by 15 goals next week and the Dockers will still get a standing ovation as they go off the ground.

(PS Kick their black and red arses, guys!)

I'm a Bombers fan, and can tell you that I have absolutely no confidence at all going into this game, let alone considering it the easiest finals game!!!

I think you'd find that most "realist" bomber fans (if you can believe that we exist ;)) would consider this season all but over. Of course we have hope that we can turn around our interstate form, but it pretty much ends at hope.

Good luck guys (hope you get flogged) :D

if there was an official freo radio show, would you expect it to talk down your chances? no, i din't think so..
