What are some of the best books you have read?
I recently read an ancient Indian manuscript called the 'Kama Sutra'.
The Karma Sutra is a family-orientated exercise book that provides an in depth explanation of stretches and exercises to perform with a fellow family member. My sister and I both decided to go through the book together and try to get fit. After we read the first few pages we decided that perhaps this was not suitable for us to complete together due to obvious reasons so I enlisted the help of my grandmother. Overall, it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I would be interested to go through it one day with Ronda Rousey or Ellen.
Robinson Crusoe and Meditations by Marcus Aurelius are also books I've read recently that I really enjoyed. I loved the story of Robinson being trapped in the desert and the talking snake leading him back to civilization in an epic journey involving singing hamburgers and some rather nasty papercuts on Crusoe's left index finger.
Over the weekend I read Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. To be truthful I don't think I fully understood it and frequently found my thoughts wandering to other things as I read it but I pushed through to the end anyway. 2 stars out of 5. Not sure what the hype was about.
Last week I read the David Thorne book, 'Look Evelyn, Duck Dynasty Wiper Blades. We should Get Them.' I read it in one sitting and immediately went and bought another one of his books 'The Internet is a Playground' as soon as I was done I was that impressed which I then read the next day. Would recommend.
