Point taken. Cattalini and Heal are in completely different leagues, but. There has never been a bigger chode in basketball than Shane Heal... great player, ****wit.

Heal out of retirement to play for Boomers

Shane Heal will consider playing basketball in Europe to cement a place in the Boomers for next year's Athens Olympics.

The three-time Olympian today announced his availability for selection for all Boomers camps and tours.

But the 32-year-old said his availability for the national team did not change his earlier decision to retire from full-time basketball and he won't return to the NBL.

Heal said over the course of last season he had 10 offers to go overseas to play and it was still an option.

The Boomers will be seeking revenge over the Tall Blacks in the Oceania championship series in Victoria in September - usually a contest with a lot at stake.

However, both teams have already qualified for the Athens Olympics thanks to New Zealand's fourth-place finish at last year's world championships.

Heal will attend the Boomers training camp on the Gold Coast from June 22 to July 1.

If pulling up and firing an ill advised 3 the first chance you get is running the point, then Heal is perhaps the greatest PG in history. Not only is he an overrated bum, but he just quit on his team...**** him!
