I can guarantee bowden wont be at tigerland next year
the word in geelong is that geelong are goin all out to get him,
that part is true
what the deal will include, well thats another thing!

Would richmond be happy with a bowden for ronnie burns, and our 1st pick and 2nd pick.

Ronnie burns has had a shocker this year, but unlike houlihan, ronnie can stand up and turn a match, he still has that bit of magic in him

No one deserves to be traded to Geelong, least of all Bowden.

And Ronnie Burns?? I think the tigers have enough soft, inconsistant washed up hacks on their list thanks.

I've always maintained that a Bowden trade may happen, but only if a Croad like situation came along.

In this intance, this would mean no less than a top 1 - 2 pick plus some players and / or lower draft picks. To this end, Carlton would possibly be in the best situation to pick up Bowden. I'm not sure that pick #10 (?) would really cut it...

... (unless this pick was collected in order to be on-traded as part of the Carey / Johnson swap?)

As for Burns - I think we have been burned (no pun intended) too often with chasing crumbing forwards.

Joel

While I'm not Joel's biggest fan, he is being underated here, he would demand a 1st round pick if he was to be traded, which i doubt he will be

We'll give ya Begley (22 yrs old), Chris Oliver (20) and pick #19.

Begley could be on-traded with Torney to Adelaide - you'd be looking at something pretty good there? Pick #14?

Once again, one of my fabulous speculations....

Richmond:
Oliver, Picks #14 & #19

Adelaide:
Torney, Begley

St.Kilda:
Bowden

Hang on, wait a sec ... Ronnie Burns - he can play a bit. Maybe a package deal with Darryl Cotton and Normie Rowe and you've got a deal.

Oh ... Ronnie Burns the ex-footballer !!! Nah ... forget about it.

wow you say you can guarantee Bowden wont be at Richmond next year than it must be true and you must be a really reliable source .hahaha no we don't need burns why would we? I'm sure we could do with one of Geelong's rising young players though ;).anyway as if Bowden will end up at Geelong.I think Bowden will still be at Richmond in 2003....
