i dont know if this is a rule by the afl, but most players r encouraged to do some extracurricular work ie study,

when i was studying at VUT i had Prestigiacomo, Sedat Sir and Simon Cox in my tutes, richard osbourne, matty knights and Ryan 'rhino' O'Connor were also studying there, the club pays for it all, so any of them that dont do it r silly, having said that i know that Otto in his first 2 seasons used to just sit at home on the playstation in all his spare time

im pretty sure that the whole richmond team must have a job or be studying or something its part of a policy that frawley put in place.

I have a friend who is doing teaching at ACU and is in some of his classes, apparently he just lazy and does absolutely stuff all during class, my friend reckons he's just a typical w@*%er and that during an exam once he just looked out the window and didn't put pen to paper at all. That just about says it all to me.

umm sorry mate but i also have a friend who is in some of his classes who says he does plenty of work and that his quite a nice guy and from wat i no of him which isnt much but still Joel is a nice guy so b4 u turn an obvious hate of Joel Bowden on the field and make it really personal mayb u should get ur facts straight

Well judging by the fact that you are a self-proclaimed member of the Patrick Bowden fan club, you are hardly going to say anything negative about his brother are you. Given his obvious laziness on the football field, I can see how he would be a lazy student.

right and as an obvious member of the Joel Bowden hate club u obviously wont have ne thing positive 2 say about him wat turned out as a positive post asking wat he did outside of footy has turned in2 yet another post to bag Joel only this time ur attacking him personally the way he performs on the footy field has nothing 2 do with his personal life. wouldnt trade browny 4 ne thing but yeah thanx we'll have Bowden seen as he seems 2 b hated amongst his own. Guess the problem would b the ppl that actually matter 2 trading wouldnt trade him.

And u cant tell me that Joel Bowden cant play footy seriously get ova the whole hating Bowden thing now it sounds a bit old.

Its not a fact of hating Joel.

I dont hate him, just think he is a lazy, fancy footballer that will never realise his potential and never bring us a premiership but other clubs still drool over his 'potential' so he will fetch us a fair bit come trade time.

I always saw Joel Bowden as being left foot version of Nathan Buckley, Joel doesnt have that impact. His time to be that has past, its too late to correct his bad habits, time to go.

We can get a fair bit that improves our makeup of our team, and we are a club that needs to start again.

I just wont be crying to see the back of Joel Bowden. Not if the deal benefits the team.
