Hey lads two questions is there any way you can gain more pace, i know it aint about pace but i would like to be a bit quicker and how do you bowl cutters??

I'd say more upper body/core strength maybe? Or you could sling.

WRT cutters, I find off cutters a lot easier to bowl so I'll tell you how to bowl those.

Very simply you do everything the same except instead of having the ball roll up the palm side of your fingers and out straight you run you index finger down the side of the ball.

This will put off spin on the ball but most importantly it comes out slower.

Imo it's one of the best ways to bowl a slower ball because your action/arm speed doesn't change at all and it still comes out of the front (well side) of your hand, not the back.

Well I have given up with my spin bowling since I have found I can bowl quite a good inswinger. Got 1-22 but could easily have had 5 fa, with 3 dropped catches and the batsman nearly playing on. My new problem is swinging it aa long way from off stump and straying towards leg too much. I will probably get told to bowl more on the offside but when I tried to bowl outside off it was not looking as threatening and I was bowling too wide and getting picked off easier. What should I do?

You need very good accuracy to be a stock inswing bowler.

You will also need to formulate a leg cutter or an outswinger if you want to progress to any decent standard of cricket.

Tilt the seam towards 1st/2nd slip, get a little more side on and see if you can bowl an outswinger.

Remember to keep the seam upright on release.
