Box Hill defeated The Murray Kangaroos today by 7 points.

Box Hill had thier biggest crowd in history today, with over 10000 people showing up to todays game.

Thats what i was told by my dad, who went to the game, unfortunately i couldnt make it with all my stupid homework!!

Apparently Boffa got injured and Croady kicked a whoppa of a goal, torpedo from 90 metres out.

90 metres??? Settle down!!! It was a great kick, but anything above 70 metres would be stretching the truth.

No sh*t, 10,000 really??? It was a huge crowd for a VFL game, but I had no idea it was that bloody big. That's a sensational turnout.

I don't want to say it, but I have never seen so many people bring their dogs to a VFL match before. One lady even had her Maltese terrier fitted out in a Hawthorn jumper, wonder if the dog's membership number was tattooed in its ear.

It was a pretty good standard game, even though the ground was a bit soft and got chopped up a bit.
I didn't see O'Farrell or Lord get injured, but have read about it on the message boards - does anyone know anything else? Shame about young Mark Ainley (Roos #33) who got carted off. He was in a very bad way, causing the game to be stopped while the medical staff were trying to get him onto the stretcher. I hope he is ok.

Adrian Cox played a really good game, which is remarkable when you think about it.

Vanders, I did write down your mobile number but spent half the morning looking for that post-it note, to no avail. So I couldn't make contact with you. I still don't know where the bloody thing is. DCFC, we saw no dude in a #37 anywhere.

Dammit! I froze all day in my short sleeved jumper for nothing!

I was the one bagging Digby Morrell all day down near the Box Hill race. And bagging Brady Rawlings and his bloody massive schnozz.

Seroiusly, a great day - I thought the crowd was somewhere between four and five grand, and to run out of beer and records by half time speaks volumes for the size.

Hope Mark Ainley is okay, he looked pretty bad.

A loss to the Barkers but never the less we are 10th and Croydon is third so it was a really good effort and the scoreboard didnt show how well we played. I hope you enjoyed my match report. LOL

Jeez u Hawthorn buggers...on the train on the way home they were baggin out Croady biggggg time almost thought it was yellow and black i was seein there for a minute instead of yellow and brown...very fickle

ah well good luck to Box Hill they r one of the best ressies sides ive watched so far this year
