Is Haye still with Kylie did they say?

Bonin may have been rated, but he aint fought nobody and isnt a huge scalp at all. Was once brought in as a punching bag for Fraudly.

Diaz v Freitas tomorrow, nice warmup for DLH-PBF next week.

Anyone catching the 24-7 doco on the DLH-PBF fight? Great viewing IMO, the UFC has tried to do something like this, but this is much much better, as it should be with HBO behind it.

FWIW Floyd Jr and Sr have split up again. lol.

fair enough, yeah his only other loss was to fraudley actually. Hayes demolished him though, knocked him down 3 times inside 2 minutes! haha

Floyd Jr can be the translator!

Haha, just reminded me of that bit on the 24/7 doco where Roger Mayweather is trying to prank call Freddie Roach and Roach asks him to please speak English :D

Both Uncle Rog and Floyd Sr. are crackheads par excellence!

haha yea that was funny.

Just got $2.08 on PBF by dec!!
that's pretty good odds, chances of him knocking DLH down are pretty slim, just gotta cross your fingers DLH doesn't catch him! if it goes to 12, you gotta think mayweather will take it 4 sure.

Barring some DLH-Sturm type BS decision, Floyd should take this one comfortably.

Who knows though, I thought Oscar lost to Whitaker, and Oscar ended up winning the fight on the Vegas judges' cards by 5 or 6 points.

Should it be anything resembling a close fight, they'll give it to Oscar imo.

I think Floyd will win 9-3 or so, but even with that margin, he'll probably only escape with a split decision.

as expected really. How much did you win on PBF smokin?

yea cleaned up around just under $500.

Mayweather by SD was paying around $10 which I probably would have dabbled in if I had seen it. I took the draw to cover any funny business.

Took a few multis with Juarez and Bautista as well. So overall a nice weekend for me.

Floyd-Oscar: 2.15 million buys!
PPV telecast sets all time record
HBO Sports reported today that 2.15 million pay-per-view buys and $120 million in pay-per-view revenue was generated from last Saturday’s mega fight showdown featuring Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The fight was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in association with MGM Grand Hotel & Casino. In a fight that set the all-time pay-per-view record by eclipsing the previous mark by a sizable margin of 160,000 buys as well as establishing a new mark for revenue from a pay-per-view telecast, Mayweather scored a split decision victory and captured De La Hoya’s junior middleweight title. The showdown produced 1,225,000 buys from cable systems and 925,000 buys from satellite homes throughout the 50 states.

looking forward to the Hatton v Castillo (have a funny feeling Castillo could do it, Hatton has looked average in the last couple of fights), and Taylor v Spinks (Taylor easily me thinks) now.

I thought de la Hoya - Mayweather was dull until I saw Spinks-Taylor. Man, what a stinker! If you managed to miss it count yourselves fortunate.

Yea, Taylor-Stinks was pretty bad, but I expected that. Taylor is very average, still amateruish in a lot of what he does, and Stinks has always been horrible for excitement - although is is pretty skilled and is a better fighter than many give him credit for.

I scored it 114-114. Stinks should go back to 154, Taylor, dunno about him. Dunno how he still has the titles...hopefully he fights Pavlik. He seems to be showing no improvement, even with Steward. Needs to fight more often and develop punches beyond a jab and telegraphed right.

Miranda got bashed by Pavlik, good scrap though. Hopefully Pavlik gets hit shot, might be a breath of fresh air for the division mainly full of some pretty boring guys.

Warren reckons they've agreed to Calzaghe v Kessler in Denmark in September, but the papers haven't been signed yet - hopefully it's just a formality, I really wanna see this fight happen, if Calzaghe beats kessler (convincingly) it would do a hell of a lot for his credibility. Would also mean he could finally get some big fights in the states.

Hopefully it happens. Don't have much faith that it will, but we'll see.

Nice little fight tonight between Judah and Cotto. Cotto showed some great composure (amidst cuts, getting rocked, gettin deducted points) to keep his head and apply constant pressure. Zab Judah showed some great heart and earned my respect.

If Cotto ever faces Mayweather I think Mayweather will beat him quite easily. He is too slow of hand and too open to counters. Love his style, but Floyd will likely toy with him imo.

I will say this though, Cotto put a beat down on Zab MUCH MUCH worse than Mayweather did.

how wrong I was, hatton looked great, and castillo looked like his heart was not in it.
I'd love to see hatton v PBF now, and it looks like it's a possibility. But I only want to see it at Hatton's weight, junior welter, he isn't quick enough or pwerful enough when he goes up in weight. I think PBF will probably try to get the fight at welterweight, to make sure he's got an advantage
