Boxing Day Dress Up

Me and my mates are going boxing day and its an annual tradition. However this year we are thinking of dressing up but are not coming up with any ideas.

Could you guys help?

Why don't you dress up as a group of mates going to watch the cricket - rather than a group of attention whores copying a fairly pathetic tradition from the poms whose sole aim is to get on the scoreboard tv for a second or two?

If you just want to dress up and are only doing it for yourselves, do it at a shield match with no crowd and no tv cameras.

I would love to be at a boxing day test with the series 1-1, what i wear would be the last of my worries i would just want to be in my seat for the first ball im a spectator not the star of the show.

What a cranky bunch. I don't mind the folks that dress up... it all adds to the atmosphere. I far prefer a few blokes wandering around in dresses or silly hats, than a bunch of pissheads getting shitfaced and acting like idiots.

Amazingly there is happy medium between those two things.

it's called being a normal rational person who is there to watch the test cricket.

the vast majority of the people at boxing day will be in that category but as they don't draw attention to themselves people don't notice.
