Brad Dick?

Greetings all...

So how's Brad Dick going? To my knowledge he has been performing well at Willy and I was impressed with his efforts earlier in the season for the Magpies.

Is there any good reason why Brad can't come into the senior line-up this week or next? I believe we are going through a mini-slump (similar to this time last year) and we seem to lack a little enthusiasm, something that was clearly abundant in the early rounds.

I just reckon a bloke like BD could really inject some youthful enthusiasm into the team....and without sounding like a complete fruit-loop, I also believe the inclusion of other aboriginal boys benefits other indiginous players in the team. I just remember Dick and Leon combining well together, especially against Adelaide in round whatever....

Yes he has been playing ok in the magoos,but really has to build upper body,as has proved with him trying to take some hard knocks at willy.
He will be great once he has another, strong ,preseason and builds upper body.Too skinny at the moment to copp hits from bigger bodied players.

yeh doesn't have the body for afl and has too many people playing his role. when didak and thomas start spending more time in the midfield he will get his chance. Look for him to try and cement a spot towards the mid to end of next year

Classy Kid but as the other posters have identified, even at Willie he's easily knocked off the ball and easily hurt. He also drops his head a bit once he's been hit hard a couple of times. I don't know about really light framed players because even if they can build some bulk, they're still carrying it on a light frame. Very much depends on whether he can maintain speed and agility while supporting some extra bulk. Quite a few have done it successfully but we'll have to wait and see. Early next season will reveal a bit.
