I'm curious to know what people are expecting from Dicky in 2009. If anyone on the inside knows personally what the club expects from him, I'd like to hear it on here. I don't know whether to expect the world of him, or if he'll be in the reserves all year working on his game. What do people know?

I keep going back to the goal he kicked on ANZAC day 2007, off one foot, under pressure, from 52m out, and it cleared the fence.

Surely if his knee is right he will play a lot of senior football this year, and I can just see now the combination of Dick and Barham running of the wings for years to come, pace and skill, exactly what we need.

Brad Dick is one player I think we can genuinely get excited about.

His gotta be one of the most over rated players on bigfooty on our list. I am not saying I don't rate him but just the level of hype around him in comparison to what his shown really don't add up.

I think his still likely to spend a fair bit of early days in the 2's. Very good established players tend to take a year to get right into the swing of things after a reco. The goal foward pocket is a position that requires as much twisting, turning and stopping as any on the ground, so if his mobility isn't quite there yet it will show.

Tend to agree. Very outside player. Doesn't have the same attack on the footy or the player as Leon or other similar small forwards (ie Alwyn Davey).

Strength is his use of the footy. Forwards will be salivating every time he get the ball and is running through the midfield.
