Just thought I would see where people think the following players should spend the most time during the 08 season.

i voted forward purely for a few of his rare stand out games aka vs freo compared to the majority of shockers ive seen him play down back

for the future tho id still prefer the master to end up at CHF and Juice at FF, so if he can get some mongrel back and the dean can improve his decision making skills this year id rather him holding a position down back

Please dont vote down back becuase of the 2 or 3 ok game he has played on Barry Hall the rest of his games down back have been total shockers. I voted forward mainly becuase he makes so many mistakes and they are less costly in the Fwd 50.

He has had his chances up forward, and has now been overtaken by Newton and Bate.

While he's played some poor games down back, I think if he got more time in that role he could improve. Plus, we need defenders more than forwards at the moment.

Ive never rated him and never will.
The Dees would be better off without him.

Personally, I would give him a pre-season and a few rounds at centre half back. He has good physical attributes, so it would be ideal if he could hold down the opposition's centre half forward. This allows Rivers to play in his favoured position on the third tall.

However, I believe his chances as a forward are over. If this experiment doesn't work, then I believe that his career at Melbourne should be over.
