If you're focusing on league then none of those injuries matters very much because they'll all be back this year.

Im 0-2 in all 3 of my leagues so injuries do matter.

I was just saying that with all the injuries I have, I can't afford to waste a trade on a premium who will be back in 4-6 weeks. Hartlett should be decent cover for the time being.

Edwards is a very underrated DT player. He can quite easily average ~100 I think. He never gets a tag and never misses a game. A very unique choice if you're into that sort of stuff.

Those two are good, plus Boyd and Thompson too. I think they can average 100 this year, the rest are more doubtful.

Boyd was averaging 100 last year up until the Doggies had a top 4 spot guaranteed. He, like many other Dogs dropped off so if Eade can get his team to play for the whole 22 rounds he is a good chance to do so.

I would say Kornes, Thompson or Murphy out of that lot.

hmmmm.... trying to apply the 300 points per trade criteria here to decide whether to trade him to hayes this week or keep him...

Assumptions: Beams (on my bench) averages 60, Hayes averages 100, Dalziell is out for six weeks and averages 90 when he gets back.

On that basis I get 240 points extra while he is out, and then 110 extra points after he is back... Total 350 points - ie make the trade...

However, it is very sensitive to the assumptions, hayes could easily average 90, beams 70, and dalziell could be out for 4 weeks, in which case it nets me 80 points... On top of that, I have only 14 trades left...

What do others think about this?

Hayes = ~93 ave
Beams = ~70 ave

Hayes is the highest scoring player in the competition for points per minute, according to Freako. Increased game time should see his average increase. I'd be confident in Hayes averaging higher than Dalziell from here on.

Hayes is playing in a winning side and I think his average could improve. St Kilda's midfield could be a gold mine this year, players like Hayes, Montagna and Goddard, could be in for some good scoring.
