80 odd games, 3 premierships and he hasn't reached his prime.
Watching him last night v the Bombers, PB of 37 possessions, losing Hilly has been under-valued because of the status of Mitch and Lewy.
Hilly was made for the MCG and him coming into his prime, his loss has been severely overlooked.
Yes he was inconsistent, yes he was inconsistent at times, yes he was 'soft" at times, but it was maturity. He is now a bona fide AFL player and we miss him like hell.
Hilly and Smith on the wings and we are a different team. Instead e have spud Hartung who has no idea where to run or use his pace. The way Hilly takes the opposition on opens up play even if it doesnt work every time.
