Don't you guys realise Breakfast is the most important meal of the day?

Shame on you.

Yes Mum, I am looking after myself!

I am 100% convinced that the British/Australian/Western culture has conditioned us to eat our meals the wrong way around.

Dinner is easily the most overrated meal and too much emphasis is placed on it. I reckon a light meal with light meats, salads or vegetables is more than enough.

I personally love lunch, simply because I hate working.

Breakfast is great after a light meal and exercize the night before. It gives you something to get out of bed for too. I ain't talking about bacon and eggs either. Plenty of complex carbs make you feel great!

For Breakfast this morning, I have had some Garlick bread, and a few slices of supreme pizzas, and I finished my block of chocolate from last night.

For lunch, I will be having a couple of meat pies with sauce.

And for dinner, I will have some saussages, potato, and peas and carrots, followed by a bowl of ice- cream. I may get a block of chocolate as well.

I still say desert is the most important.

Once again I find myself nodding in agreement with FigJam ...

I reckon the old fashioned way the British used to eat is pretty good.

a big breakfast is followed by an equally big lunch, then its 'tea time', usually taken at around 4pm and consisting of light snacks as well as the usual pot of tea / coffe (Cucumber sandwhiches anyone ?)

Then, at around 8.30-9.30 in the evening its 'supper time'

Supper usually featured cooked meat of some description, but the quantity is far less than a traditional dinner and is far vetter for you because you are not stacking away masses of heavy food before you go to bed.

This 4 meals a day approach, where most food is consumed at breakfast and lunch is a better way to go. Its much healthier than the present approach where we have 3 meals a day but the overwhelming majority of the food is concentrated into dinner.

But our present day eating habits are dictated by our hectic lifestyles - nobody has time to sit down to a huge lunch and then spare the time in the afternoon to eat their way through a hefty afternoon tea as well ... pity

cheers

Breakfast for me is usually a strong coffee and a cigarette.

Dinner is a couple of glasses of chards and maybe a box of cheezels.

So I have to say lunch. The local pub down the road from work has ace $8 lunchtime specials. Always goes down well with a champagne.

It depends what day it is.

I can't say I have much affection for my pre-work cereal scoff during the week.

But a leisurely Saturday morning scrambled eggs on toast with the newspaper on the balcony in the sun....:) :)

It all depends on what’s on at work or university for me.

My ideal day of eating includes:

Bacon and Eggs. Toast with butter and a couple of cup of teas.
Snatch also tastes good in the morning.

For lunch a chicken, avocado, lettuce and tomatoe roll made of gourmet bread from Delganys in Cliffton Hill.

For dinner a chicken parmagania from La Porchettas in Kew. Wash the last two meals with the most addictive drink in Diet Coke.

In summer (like Nolsey) it is a diet of creatine, protein and more creatine. MASSIVE.

You shouldn't overload the Creatine! You'll just p*ss it down the sewers like excess vitamins and it's bloody expensive.

If you're going to double up on anything there, double up on the protien!
