Breaking Bad Movie

It’s good.

Good seeing Todd back (even if he’s a few kg’s bigger) and a few others.

In my mind when Todd brings Jesse back to his apartment I’m wondering what a Black Mirror cross over movie would look like with Jesse trapped on the USS Callister.
You are aware that Jesse was in that episode?

Agree with the general sentiment, an enjoyable ride that didn't add much but importantly didn't take anything away. Todd's weight a little jarring but what can ya do, same with aging problems BCS has.

Sad news about Robert Forster.

It was good to see a ‘what happens next’ for Jesse - some quality scenes too - But pretty much just a couple of bonus episodes.

Enjoyable Revisit though - not crap by any means, would rewatch again but probably only with a full series rewatch.

I enjoyed it, wasn't bored at any stage, but I would have liked to have seen what went down when the entire Albuquerque police force descended upon Skinny Pete.

Was also waiting for a bit more from Skinny, especially after the interrogation scene which we caught a glimpse of in the original Netflix trailer.
At least his beanie ended up helping Jesse through.

Was good, but "unnecessary"

Acting was A+

I understand this was Jesse's movie. But a part of wants to know what happened to the money, and to Skylar and the rest of Walt's family

Skyler and Marie story would be more entertaining

Damn. The actor Robert Forster who played the Vacuum store owner has passed away today.

Skylar and the rest of the family (Hank’s wife) we’re in for some short term pain and probably some longer term as they come to grips with the extent of WW’s crimes

I have 2 questions:

1. How come the cops aren't after Jessie to find out what happened to Hank and Gomez? Surely they could have found him?
2. How did all the bullets miss Jessie?
walt gave skyler the coordinates of where hank and gomez were buried.
because stormtroopers. vince gilligan loves to over-dramatize some things, hence the wild west shootout in a breaking bad movie haha.

It was probably quite a realistic scene. People with no firearms training and panicking can miss from point blank range, then one lucky bullet ends it in a heartbeat.
Yes I saw a doco recently that said pistols over longish distances are inaccurate because of the short barrels (see Dirty Harrys barrel) and combined with what you described I wasn’t surprised at that scene

Well the Cops kind of were...after Jessie leaves from Skinny Pete’s he encounters that long line of sirens and he panics and hides. I took it as an meaning that Jessie doesn’t want to find the Police in addition to his resignation when he was arrested by Fake Cops at Todds

Yeah the cops most definitely were looking for Jessie, for the whole movie. The line of police heading to Skinny Pete's just after they swapped cars as mentioned, also several news reports and his parents appealing for him to turn himself in.

The shootout did stand out a bit to me at first, but yeah agree with what others have said about them being untrained shooters. I kind of took it as an illustration of how lucky Jessie got in the initial draw down with the main welder guy.

Was it luck though? I recall him shooting from his left hand, in his jacket pocket. The second gun his parents had.

100%. My eye was on his hand in his jacket before the draw. A bit like Walt clumsily learning to use/draw his snubnose gun in earlier seasons via his jacket pocket.

In fact he never drew the .22 until after the initial kill.

Plus factor in the others were plastered with booze and coke...

“You’re on fire” :D

Yep definitely shot from the pocket through his jacket (jacket was on fire shortly after lol).

Assuming he's right handed - yeah I'd consider shots with the non-preferred fired essentially from the hip that all hit pretty lucky, especially in the context of the misses that happened directly after. Suppose he had more time to line it up but still.

Yep I get what you’re saying, there’s actually a high degree of difficulty in what he did. Lined up the gun in his pocket to aim at that bloke, whilst trying to keep it discreet and not make it obvious he has another weapon.

Only seen it once, but I wonder if his hand was in that pocket the whole time he is in their office.

Yeah I'd have to watch it again too, but I believe so - walked into the office with his hands in his pockets and left the shooting hand there for the whole convo.

It was good. Wonder if the Todd actor has had health problems since 2013. Hollywood would normally put him on weight loss pills and a gym regiment to reprise a role?

Yeah i was thinking even a flash diet and some pills from Warnie's mum might have done the trick

After binge watching BB, all five season over a few days....I watched El Camino just now.

Thought it was a waste of time, just nostalgia for fans, make some coin for Vince.

The ending of BB, as in, Jesse's escape screaming into freedom....was sufficient, we didn't need to be shown the punch by punch of what happens next, them telling us what happens next, when we already could've imagined/guessed that's what essentially happened.

It was a very well-made movie, some fantastic scenes....in terms of movie making per se. But the whole story was just a waste of time.
