what do u think of the guy? i donno what i think atm. Im kinda confused. I watched him last night, i dont really think hes fit enough or doesnt like to run alot. I donno, i think give Allan Murray/Other Clarke/Montagna/Wulf? or someone else a go, i donno, hes got to run more imo.

What about Matthew Ferguson (21). He tried pretty hard but his disposal wasnt tooo good. I watched him just boot it into the forward line where 3-5 bomber players were :| Thoughts?

I've never seen "donno" before....I've alawys said and come across "dunno".

What the hell is leet when it's at home?!

:)

Well now that I know that l337 is leet, I'm far more in the know.

If you can type saint4life, it should only take you a couple of extra seconds to type out your post. You'll come across as far more intelligent and people will take your posts more seriously, even if you talk a load of crap.

Soon you'll be combining your internet speak with WrItInG lIkE tHiS.

Back to the topic, Guerra will take a bit of time to fit in but he's a very good pick-up. Already we have Hudghton, Koschitzke, Gram, Montagna and Murray either injured or in the reserves so the depth is there this season.

What is the situation with Montagna and Fisher, Saints fans?

Any injuries or just being preserved? I would have thought they would both be ahead of Ferguson. IMO Fisher will be in your top 5 players in a couple of years.

They were both injured but neither was listed on our most recent injury list so I imagine they'd be pushing for selection this weekend. Montagna played in a VFL practice match a couple of weeks ago so he'd be a little closer.

There's a public training session tomorrow morning so if I can drag myself out of bed early enough I'll have a look but if not there will be plenty of Saints supporters who could let us know how they train.

Both played an important role in our promising finish to 2003. Fisher in particular only played the last 5 games of the season and according to a lot of our supporters would get a spot in the back pocket in our best 18. Montagna finished the season off very well and will get a lot of games too. With the extended benches of the Wizard Cup you would be hard pressed to drop 4 players that would allow both to get a game in the first round but as we know injuries are inevitable and places will open up.

Ferguson was one of the standouts in the intra-club game but he and Nick Stone have been given very little game time in the Wizard Cup. It would be hard to see Ferguson getting a senior game round 1 with such little match fitness under his belt while Stone will remain on the rookie list.

You're a battler.

You spend enough time on BigFooty, which suggests to me that you've got enough time post in a coherent language.

Is there something wrong with English?

alluvus prfr it to net-spk whn pstin @ bf.

Guerra is st kilda's nominated BUG (bald ugly Git), something we've sadly been lacking since the days of micky dwyer.
I think every clubs needs a BUG, a role filled at Port already by francou, hence the opportunity for us to score guerra, hall at sydney, smart at adelaide, etc

we managed to bypass rule 245.4.(i) of the AFL code, by calling on the 'assistant coach fulfilling the role of BUG' in the appendix to the legislation, but since the departure of BUG wallis, we were up for a 50K AFL fine unless we got one.

hence guerra!:D

also he fits in with our policy of 'guess the spelling' surname firmly entrenched at st kilda, once the thompsons and Jones and harvey's retire, we'll be looking at replacing them with indians, yugoslavs, lankans and croats...

fumb ducks like sos would have to grease their throats before doing commentary of st kilda games.

(kosi is NOT an acceptable Nickname>>>
:D )

well

from last week to this week
what can i say

the guy went in hard right from the very start
kicked 4-5 goals

champ.

wd buddy

:) respect is given

when the time came, he went the hard yards and did what he needed to do :D

Kangas let him slip too - word at the club was that he wanted more dosh than we were prepared to pay and that we have a few similar types.
Hope we don't live to regret that decision coz he kept the sainters in the game early and showed he has the footy smarts.
And the Kangas could have used his toughness.
