No answer!
Is this because he isn't training or do you not know any information about Hally?
Please anyone.

I heard he has a bout of glandular fever... and also Collingwood have high hopes for this kid filling a key position :)

collingwood were rapt to get him so late in the draft.

I havent heard or seen anything of BBBH at training either. If I spot him during tommorrow's intra-club match I'll let you know how he went.

Thanks Guys.

Sorry I wasnt able to leave work early enough to attend.

I checked around some of the Collingwood boards and no one reported anything about him. On LSD within the "Intra Club Match Report" thread BHFC reported that he didnt see him so perhaps he wasnt playing.

A bit more from Hotrods, Bigtone reported that .....

"Brent hall sat next to me for a while and he is over that mild dose of Glandular Fever that he had. What a big bloke he is and according to my associates can play. He is tipped to play this year for sure and is apparantly ahead of Morrison. "

(Morrison is Billy Morrison, our first round pick)

I highly doubt he will play this week for the Wizard Cup.

He is an amazing athlete for a guy of his size and shape, (question for southjoy>) but does he have a footy brain?

If he does, we have a gem on our hands.

I will definately be keeping an eye on him at training.

If Brent had Glandular Fever was it only a mild mild dose? Seems he is coming to Perth. Be interested to hear what you guys can find out about his condition.

I won't be the least bit surprised if he turns out a much better player than Morrison.

Yeah look you are right with the fact that Hally or Herman has great physical attributes. He is very quick for his size and is reasonable below his knees. He's a great team player and will be a very physical player for you. He has never done a proper pre season and it is his endurance which has a question mark over it. This doesn't mean he hasn't got it it means I don't know.
He does have footy smarts but not like some of the naturals. He's extremely coaxchable and will take great strides under good tutealage.

Thanks for the reply southjoy.

I was also enthused to hear that he was a vice-captian for his side as a 17 year old last year.

...............Which is the reason why I expect him to play for Williamstown (our reserves) for the year whilst he gets used to the rigours of AFL training and also gets his fitness up.

I still can't get over how big and athletic he is.

He's like a West Coast youngster!
