i literally cannot wait to see beama next season..hopefully he gets his groins right because when he plays..he always contributes...the hard and nuggety onballer is exactly what the dees missed this year in my opinion..he is a freak

Wouldn't say he is a freak... lost a bit of what pace he had with his groin injuries but we are all hoping he can get some of his form back. Needs to learn to run BOTH ways too, not very defensive minded.

we have hard nuggety onballers galore now!!! it wasnt long ago we had none!! Brock, jones, sylia (when he plays in the middle), mcdonald...........give me some pace!!!! But yes his long kicking is defenatley an advantage and i do love the way he plays

I watched a replay of the 2005 Essendon Broadbridge game and he was unbelievable that game. His swooping pickup then goal to get the ball rolling was amazing. I did the AFL highlights thing where you view all of the goals and he seemed to be setting up every second goal. There was also one bit where he sprinted away from an opponent and took a bounce and still delivered it perfectly while sprinting. I really hope that he gets his pace back.

He got suspended for that "bump". He barely touched him, Bartel injured himself when he hit the turf.

Has a very strong base and a penetrating kick, outstanding mid-fielder when he was fit,Beamer is ready for 2008 don't worry about that, love the way he plays.

I hope he can return to his 2005 form, because he was a great player then.

Imagine, a fully fit McLean, Jones, Sylvia and Moloney in the midfield.

Would there be any midfield tougher than that?

MElbourne need a fully fit midfield in order to be successful.
this year our midfield was depleted almost every game. White won the majority of the centre taps and yet we ended last in centre clearances. surely this has a lot to do with our misfortunes this year.

Beama is one of my fav players but he seriously needs to get his groin right or i dont think he should get his contract renewed at the end of the year. And it kills me to say that

YEah i reckon. He's only played a handful of games for us since coming from Geelong but the majority of them have been top class.

Yeah I agree, although Moloney is a great player when he is fit, if he cannot get his groin right MFC should not renew his contract.

its in our best interests to get a proper pre season into him and get him fit. If MFC can get him back to playing his best footy again then it will be invaluable for the club in years to come.

The club owe it to him to get him right, his OP got worse this year bcos they played him to much wen we had injured players.
