Is he worth picking up this week? Very cheap just thought id mention it for people interested in a centre. Myself i was thinking about trading S.Burgoyne or M.Murphy because there a bit inconsistant and Stanton was a gun until he got injured, he had a good game and could be worth getting seen as he is very cheap for his average. Or is it worth getting Bartel or K.Cornes next week?

Wait until the teams come out on Thursday incase the rumor about him being out for 3/4 weeks is true.

Yeah will do mate. Starting to have doubts now with all the injury talk about him. It might be safe to just get someone fully fit. But yeah will wait until thursday before any final decisions.

Had him since the start so i watched him carefully for his first game back....he's NOT 100% by a long shot. At this stage of the year tho many arnt.

Proppy when pulling up and running on egg shells. Very protective of an ankle. He may miss more games from what i saw.

On the Essendon board, people have been saying that it's just a hammy strain and not a tear so i doubt he'd miss that many weeks. Maybe 1 or 2.

if there are no more niggling injuries he (stanton) could be a great buy to strengthen your side, looking to head into a finals campaign.

If you have the extra cash just sitting in ur bank why not pick up jimmy bartel or kane cornes?

i did the same. cant afford to have bit part players in my squad at this time of the year.

brad johnson struggled last night with hammy soreness, im hoping he can get up for the rest of the season and not be rested.
