Hes bottom age. if he doesn't go this yr he will next
Very good call that one, you're right on the money. If he goes this year I'd say late 2nd round onwards

If he's doing well as a bottom age player, he will definitely go, probably in 2nd or 3rd round. North did the same last year with Shore (#18) and Perry (#31), both eligable for another year in the U18's and may have gone top 10 this year if available.

Hawthorn did the same with Veale. Difference is Stanton is not a developing KPP, he is a wingman.

Probably a late selection - he has some good traits such as his pace, but he has a few weaknesses too.

yeh i just sent in about him cos he goes to my school and i want to kno how hed go, after seeing his results it seems that hes an alright player.

pozzo, how much do u wanna root his leg? U keep mentioning him, ex. in next years top prospecs. Unless u are brent stanton trying to see what other people think of u. Which is pretty lame

LOL, I doubt he's the only one whose done it if it is Brent Stanton. I'm suspicious of a few on here of doing what you said Millar.

BTW, has anyone seen Woeyfanclub lately?

it's hard to say where he will go... he will be a gun, so i think clubs will try and get in on him early... i'd say between 10 - 20... if the draft is pretty even from 10 onwards, why wouldn't you have a punt on a younger player like him... the player keith burns said was the best he'd ever seen come through at the northern knights... that's ahead of names such as John Barker, Chris Johnson, Angelo Lekkas, Jarrod Molloy, Adam Simpson, Gary Moorcroft, Blake Caracella, Anthony Rocca, Matthew Collins, Trent Hotten, Simon Prestigiacomo, Shane Clayton, Paul Licuria, Brent Harvey, Lance Whitnall, Nick Stevens, Rhyce Shaw, Paul Wheatley and Ben Johnson... Not granted they aren't all stars, but there are some pretty big names there, and to be called the best ahead of them all is a very big one...

I played a game of local footy against him. He played the first 3 quarters at full forward because he had played a tournament with the knights in perth in the week that had past, and it was crutial that his side (banyule) beat us, the winner virtually went into the finals...

He kicked 5 in the 1st 3 quarters before he went on the ball when scores were equal at 3/4 time... he just simply dominated... just kept running down the wing, dodging and weaving in and out of tackles... breaking through tackles, hitting targets, racking up at least 10 touches and was the difference between the 2 sides...

i don't know a whole lot about him, but i think that a club will sieze the oppertunity and take him early...

Shut up footy man u got no idea

Got alot more idea than u have, maybe post somting about football, whats the point of coming into a thread and writing that s**t.

In my opinion i think stanton is a pretty good player, explosive pace, good skills, penatrating kick, he tends to lurk around the outside and around the back of bigge players, this i think is where he gathers a fair few possesions. some days he runs hot others u dont see him
