Don't know Melbourne aleady have a couple of midfielders who don't have an abundence leg speed, ie. McLean, Sylvia, who both have age on thier side.
I'm pretty sure that Daniher will look at youth rather than a mid-twenties slow midfielder.

mclean and sylvia have pace, not explosive but have pace. we dont need johnson

His ball winning ability is excellent and skills are ok but he gets found out for a lack of pace. If he went to a club that had a couple of quick midfielders around him he might go well. Carlton didnt have that and niether did the Hawks when he was there.
