Haven't seen the Stafford incident as yet but if he goes Ray Hall is our only ruckman and with Primus possibly coming back in its gonna be a huge ask for Razor. Even if Primus doesn't come in after seeing Brogan play last night its still going to be a big ask for Hall.

Having now seen the incident I reckon he should now get off looked accidental to me.
Listening to 3aw yesterday they made it sound a lot worse than what it actually was.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see Holland come in this week. He had his second game back on Friday and played nearly the whole game. Newspaper reports that he did OK as well.

I would play him at CHF as a target to force a contest. Have no expectations on him kicking goals but as a means to feed runners from the midfield.

Playing in this manner means that he can play basically on his own terms. If he played as a CHB, he would be forced to run in ways that he may not be confident in doing. He may be a liability.

As Pagan said of Mick Martyn - "I need a gorilla to play on the gorillas" - this may not be true of Port Adelaide. The big key forwards we need worry about are Tredrea and Cornes, neither of whom fit into the Pagan gorilla categorie.

Maybe if Primus or Brogan went forward, we may have to consider sending Holland back, but then again, neither of these 2 are reknowned for setting games alight in front of goal. Maybe we should roll the dice and let some smaller players (Zantuck) pick them up.

This may sound dumb, but it also may be worth a punt letting Vardy run in the ruck (also assuming we are without Staff). He is a big lad and may be able to battle to limit the effect of Primus. Not sure about his endurance though!

Another thought is having Holland compete as the centre square ruck - he is the same height and weight as Primus - before pushing forward and allowing Hall to work as a follower. At least with Hall we know he has the endurance to do this.

I have no way of knowing how Schulz is doing at Coburg. I do not know if he is right to step up to the big time. Taking a punt, I may exchange Schulz for Pettifer!!!

I read on the Port board they are expecting heavy rain during the game - that could be the most valuable "IN" for the Tigers!
