Actually looked around Buderim a month ago too. 3+ acre blocks for multiple houses, but cannot find anything available that isn't on the side of a hill in the middle of a cow paddock.

Buderim is tipped for high growth over the next 5 years according to residex. Also areas halfway between Buderim and Brisbane (Kallangur and around that area).

Buderim has been booming for years. Two friends of mine went halves in a house up there 6 months ago and it has gained around $50k in 6 months.
Possibly the trouble is that we have agents who are so cashed up after the boom they are chasing people away from the good deals to keep them for themselves or favoured clients.
