Broughton keeper?

Broughton and Dawson will be my 7th and 8th backman...this week thankfully Dawson is my 8th..

Yes Broughton is a keeper for me...I'll be happy with 75sc per game

Was looking at Drummond but he can take his time getting back now and l will look at upgrading to another gun Mid sooner for Richie.

Broughton and Grimes are the backline saviours this year and I'm holding them unless they get injured. I only wish there was an equivalent to them in the forward line.

Is it a dumb idea to already be thinking of picking both Broughton and Grimes as premium backs for next year?

Would be a great keeper but Harvey said he plans on resting Fremantle's first year players. Not great if he does plan to rest Broughton later in the year.

Broughton is a mature age rookie though, so hopefully Harvs doesn't rest him.

I was gonna trade him for Drummond, but I'm not sure now. Broughton, Higgins and Grimes all look to be in my team until the remainder of the year. Pretty happy with that considering I only ever saw them as cash cows.

With Broughton doing so well I'm thinking about trading out Chornes for Silvester to free up some cash so I can fix my forward line.

that's exactly what i'll be doing. no guarantee that chornes will perform once he's back (plus he has a BE of 148 as well)

this will allow me to upgrade both duddy and mcglynn to guns for my finals campaign

Yeah, he talked about resting Hill and Suban who have played EVERY game this year

2 reason's why Broughton won't gte rested:

a) He is a mature age recruit

b) He didn't play the start of the season and has only played 7 games.

He won't be rested

Plus he is playing so well (and not just from a fantasy point of view) that freo need him firing.
