BTW-much prefer Rowelly's Mum to Daicos' Dad

BnF’s always get the other positions into it. Witts finishes top 3 this year imo

I’m sure the way Rowelly goes about it also sways umpires. He gets penalised more than anyone else. Especially more than any midfielders but never complains / argues / appeals. Just does his job and lets the umpires do theirs.

I think Rowell actually gets a fair bit of leeway most of the time when he has the ball in hand. Generally gets a fair bit of time to get it away - because the umpires know most of the time he will. Though when you’re winning first possession 15 times a game. There will always be a few where you get nabbed trying to make the play.


the one that gets me is where is is grabbed before he even has the ball. Just started to get a few frees for that toward end of the year though.

was very emotional watching him win that last night, poor bloke struggles to express himself in the media but no-one would question his toughness, work ethic, integrity or humility..............the club needs to get him some, or more, help in front of the cameras so he can overcome his shyness and lack of confidence

I was waiting for him to say he dreamed as a kid of one day winning that Brownlow

On another note did you guys see he mentioned losing a coach in his speech as a tough period and I was a bit surprised he never thanked Dimma so not sure if he lost his way or wasn't feeling it
