Too bloody right. We know we need mids but why would we trade our only fair dinkum Key position defender (i.e who can take on the big stars) to get one? Surely we would look to trade one of our many forwards??

Because accept for Croad Hawks don't have a Big Young Defender.

That's why Brown is so good as How young he is.

I know Mitch Brown will be a star but seriously WC have alot of forwards coming thrue and also a couple older ones still there

That is a little silly simply because key fowards will always be more valuable then key backs. It doesn't matter how good a defender is if a good foward is on fire and getting good delivery there is nothing one man can do.

That said, the chances of Brown being traded are extremely little to none. Simply his value to team structure is greater then his value as an individual player. Key backs who can beat there opponents one on one are very very rare. Key backs like that who can match up on both quick and strong opponents are even rarer. Brown gives us this flexibility and verstality, he is the type of back that will go to the teams best foward regardless of whether they are FF or CHF and take them one on one.

Special mids get all the glory but special kpp are rarer. Look at the amount of sides with good mids that struggle in the Key position aspect. I would be far more confident of us finding a really top quality mid in the draft over the next couple years then I would be of us finding a full back of Brown's quality.

His 19 and his holding down FB/CHB he will get better and better, seriously he is one of the biggest talents we have at the pies. His size at 19 and playing 20/20 games this season, no doubt has 12 or so seasons in him, amazing really.
