Bryce Gibbs

This is possibly the most ridiculas, almost CP like thread i've ever done, and i know this is going to sound stupid, but
would it be absolutely ridiculas, if we don't pick up another KPF, and for whatever reason, Sentanta doesn't fill a KP position like we hope, or Warnock doesnt excell and we can't afford to use Kruzer in the forward line, or Waite comes back as a backman, and we really don't have any options for a big second forward. Could Gibbs be used as a CHF?. From memory lead the contested marks area, and we have plenty of forwards, if worst comes to worse, would it be impossible for him to be tried out there?

4-5 months isn't much in the way of "ever".
But it is one of the stranger ideas I've heard lately.

Gibbs is a good set shot kick but he is required more in the midfield. If Warnock doesn't come good we have Hampson who is improving, Sauce. Even Cloke, he should be the 2nd big forward and nevvver in the ruck. Murph and Gibba have done well this year with goal kicking and i don't think that changing that up would be very beneficial

Not stupid at all, I can actually see Gibbs becoming a very good leading forward but he'll be more a like a Brad Johnson or Nathan Buckley as a forward though. We can't do without him on the ball though, we do lack a little quality in terms of genuine onballers. Many of our midfielders are wingers and flankers.
I think Fevola will be there at FF. Waite will be there as CHF as we have plenty of backmen. Kreuzer will be an option as a forward. Maguire is a possibality.

Gibbs is the sort of player that would excel in every role on a footy field.

Sure, he could become a very good forward, but we'd be robbing Peter to pay Paul if we played him there.

Leave him as a midfielder with license to roam.
