It was a bit of a head scratch moment when we recruited him and then his first year on our list, respect to the guy he got up off the canvas, he kept believing. I don’t think anyone was wrong because he is different player now than what we recruited.

Ironically I think Mayne and Greenwood, two arguable mercenaries who probably joined the club for generous contracts are two that have developed into two of our best figures who have really draped themselves in the Collingwood spirit. They are two of my absolute favourites at the club and I hope to see both play out on their own terms.

Wish Greenwood had a better run at it ...always seems to be injured
