Hawthorn will find out on Monday afternoon about the seriousness of a wrist injury suffered by youngster Lance Franklin.

Franklin, who was on the verge of senior selection, had scans on Sunday after injuring his wrist while playing for the Hawks' VFL affiliate Box Hill and will find out the results on Monday afternoon.

"It's been well documented today that Buddy hurt his hand on the weekend and he was someone who we're hoping we might get back in the side soon but we're just waiting on the results of scans there," Hawthorn skipper Richie Vandenberg said on Monday morning.

The 19-year-old's latest setback comes just one week after returning from an ankle injury sustained prior to round one and threatens to further delay his 2006 senior debut.

Yep, Hopefully the club and buddy get some good news about this injury as we would dearly love to have him roaming the half forward line soon.

But seriously, Ries plays alright. Personally I think we are missing Osbourne. He could have played on Wells and maybe quited him down.

Dawson won't play on Brown, he will get Bradshaw. I want to see Roughy go on Brown.
