I’d support Accor as an option
Easter weekend should be

Good Friday : NRL

East Monday : GWS

Club should've pushed for the Pies on Easter Monday at Accor

Considering we play them the week prior at Marvel and not at the G

That has a lot to do with the pies having a sook ... they've been hammered their last two visits to us
17 games in Melb 2026 not going to help the cause, will just need to beat them at Marvel and then they will complain that they had to travel too far there as well

Not playing Collingwood in Sydney is a bizarre decision, imo.
And no 2nd game against the Dogs - Saturday twilight at Engie instead of 1pm Sunday against West Coast smack bang in the middle of Junior Footy making it difficult for families to attend and then media complaining about low crowds would've been another option for the Club to fix / from previous mistakes

no second dogs game makes me happy .... they have our number through the midfield currently

Been told that Accor has lost the ability to change configuration.

Ridiculous and stupid if true. Hope AFL got their money back.

The last game there was only 2022, and there haven't been any major developments there since (that I'm aware of), so hopefully if that's true, it's at least fixable/reversible.

Otherwise it'd be very short-sighted.

I recall seeing a report to this effect. Something about where the seating configuration was set, IIRC.

If true, that's what makes filling the Easter Show gap in western Sydney so problematic.

If it can be reconfigured, then they should do so. Notwithstanding my Canberra location, I understand why the scheduling gap is such a concern.

Just one game at Accor, plus the Swans SCG game, one game in Canberra, Gather Round and some away games would at least minimise the damage.

There was plenty of smoke about moving our final against the Swans there in 2024 and not once was it brought up that it's technically unreconfigurable so if anything changed it was last year.
