I went and watched the Bullants again today and they played a great final quarter to win the game. The best thing about the win IMO was the fact that the Bullants player's stepped up in the last quarter and not the Carlton listed players (except Irish who played well all day!)

Sandringham next week in the prelim. Carlton fans should get down to support the boys, hopefully to a premiership in 2006!

Admittedly that's exactly what I thought today when I noticed he wasn't out there but then I saw him watching on and he didn't look too worried about it.

Hopefully he is safe for 2007 as I don't think he has been given a fair go. There are 9 others that should go before him.

I watched the match and I thought Setanta stood out as BOG. I haven't seen any official reports of the match, and wonder who the other best players were? I would say DeLuca, Bannister, Blackwell, Teague, Sporn, in that order .Also Livo got a fair bump from Banno and had to leave the ground. He was holding Edwards up until that time. They said he went to hospital during the game. Anyone know what his injuries are, and how he is?

You can only have so many Carlton listed players in a game in the finals... especially against a non-affiliated team.

Hoping they do because we will more than likely play Willy in the GF and it will be all the more sweeter "Carlton" beating "Collingwood" in ANOTHER GF! he he

We seen the past play today, sporn livo prenda etc now go and watch the future play in the bullants reserves. smith jacko edwardes etc the guys that mitchell ********d to give the more " deserving " players a tilt at glory. Sure the boy in the ones had a win but they looked very ordinary around the middle today. Chambers was hopeless while longy looked out of it. Sure blacky had a go but he was smashed by the frankston onballers, he had 18 possys not what you would call a great game. Unless they get more rotations thru the middle they will go down to sandy next week.

Sure, it was only the twos but he was still bloody impressive. We've gotta persist with him in the Seniors in the backline in '07.

Not a very convincing win tho, will need to lift next week.

The ants have been pretty ordinary in the guts these last two weeks, and that form won't be good enough against the Zebras. I expect Smith and Jackson to come up next week, but the middle is a worry.

I guess Bannister will have to pick up Sautner this week judging by how sick Livo looked on Saturday. And I'll second the opinions of Socks, he was great.
