This makes my list when an underrated games thread comes around.

It's a skillful, creative game masquerading as a big dumb game. It's a FPS that has doesnt bother trying to be serious. It's gory, and the focus is on using combos of weapons, upgrades and environments to perform trick kills.



It's a shortish campaign (8 hours from memory) but maybe Gearbox has chucked in some extra modes.

As for the story, you're a marine. And something about a robot.

Story tries a little too hard to be the thing it's making fun of but really a solid entertaining fps that's easy to jump into and will hook you pretty quickly.

This is an odd one, was a critical success but I thought it struggled commercially. Still, apparently everything gets remastered these days.

The cheapest I can find this is $62 so not grabbing it at that price.

Always wanted to give it a go though.

Can't wait for this one to drop in price. I thought it was the most underrated game at the time and played the shit out of it when it came out as I was off work for a while with a broken hand.
