Just read that there is a bushfire in the hills near Mt Lofty.

Yeah sucks! Hopefully the rain comes fast, it's a pig of a location and if the wind picks up it could go anywhere quickly

Yeah I just google it, dangerous spot.
Hopefully the rain will come in earlier than expected. :thumbsu:

It's the lack of access and dense scrub land, I drive through there often as i live in the hills and it sucks.

Feel sorry for that area and at the same time I worry about it jumping quickly to mine side. Got family and livestock to consider.

All the best Rick. Any idea about when the rain is expected?

EDIT: I just checked bom and one good thing is that temperatures are moderate and expected to decrease over the next few days.

Understand how you're feeling Rick. We lived at the top of Norseworthy Forreston during Ash Wednesday fires.

Difficult to describe the feeling unless you are right in it.

All the best.

Often ride my bike around that area and the steepness of the terrain and the density of the bush provide the perfect conditions for a serious bush fire. Wind isn't too bad at the moment (it's worse up on the range though) but fingers crossed it doesn't pick up.

Hey guys. Rain expected tomorrow night.

Sunday more but when you get forecasts of 2-15mm that is very broad and anything under 10 mm at the moment isn't worth much as it runs off or evaporates anyway.

Fingers cross it doesn't affect me at all (selfish view point) but who knows with these beast. I feel for livestock, wild animals, families, it's aweful.
