Scores and rankings Bye Round Summary

So now that the bye rounds are done, how did we all manage them ?
Weirdly I I think I handled the bye rounds well in terms of having 20 on ground, and upgraded a fair few players but my scoring and rank didn't reflect this at all.

Very disappointing after a great start:

584 --> 309 --> 567 --> 753.

But when I put my team together for next week I should be in a good position. And total team value is still very high.

Basically a train wreck despite all the best laid plans.

Points: 1684/1729/1603.

Played: 19/20/21.

Rank drifted 2400 -> 3700

Ranked in the 10,000 for every individual round.

Backed all the wrong horses. Tried to focus on going in R14 and it ended up being my worst round courtesy of some absolute duds in Ward, Green, Dale, Lachie Jones. Plus a captain pick of Merrett.

Glad they're done now. Hopefully I can claw my ranking back over the next 10 rounds.

Overall happy to still be in some form of contention.
Played catch-up from the first bye round where I dropped 100 spots.

Taking a slightly different approach to this question, I'd be curious to see how the value of people's teams changed over the byes. I reckon it might be a simple and transparent way of gauging improvement without using rankings.

My overall team value (i.e. team value plus remaining salary):
Post round 11 - $16.6 million
Post round 14 - $17.1 million
Change in overall value: +$500k

Post round 11: $16.52m (can't see cash but had about $50k from trades which I've added on and was pretty close to $0 after adding Gawn in the week before)
Post round 14: $17.22m

Gain of $700k. Round 13 I seemed to gain about $400k

I don't think it accounts for cash in hand.
For round 13 trades for example I had ~$300k in the bank and gained $357k value from trades alone.
$16.55m (pre 13) > $17.64m (now)
Seems too much.

Yeah definitely doesn't include it so I added it into round 11 otherwise it increases another 50k.
