But I have this feeling that when (not if) Morton breaks into the team, he'll do some real damage this year and kick 30+ goals.

He seems to have overcome the attitude problems he had for most of last season, would be filled with confidence after last year's grand final and would now have a clear understanding of what can come of hard work. At the same time he will have the hunger to lift his performances to secure a permanent place in the team (particularly before Tippett comes in) and another contract. Combine this drive with his natural talent, the X factor he brings to the team and the opportunity to be fed by one of the league's best midfielders, the sky is the limit IMO.

I'm expecting a big 2013 from Mr September. I hope it starts this Friday night.

And if he continues his unselfish ways, we can expect an equal number of goal assists too.

Get him in dammit! There are days where we don't need so many talls.

Personally, I think he offers a bit more in front of goals than Everitt, but Dre has worked hard to get back in to the 22 and I don't think it's a matter of Mitch necessarily being out of favour, just not enough spots in the team!

You're suggesting playing him in the ruck?
No I was suggesting it's difficult to get him in, we need the 2 rucks and Reid for his development. Everitt is currently playinga floating role, while Morton os more stuck in the f50. It's really a difficult selection quandary

Mr Sept. can do anything.

I'm still not convinced that he won't end up wearing the sub vest, but great to see him named! Hope he seizes the chance.
