The Essendon board have been actively promoting the Call To Arms campaign for the fight against Cancer.

BigFooty as a whole has jumped on board for this cause.

All of us know somebody that has been affected by Cancer in some way and have seen how devastating it is.

If you donate, put down BigFooty as your organisation, forward your email receipt to BF admin as per instructions in the Essendon board thread, along with your username.

BF subscriptions will be handed out to random supporters of the team whose board raises the most money, but really, it is all about the support.

As ODN said, this is a fantastic cause, and BigFooty and more importantly the users here, have been fantastic in supporting it so far.

As an added bonus, there's a total of 25 BFSC memberships up for grabs for people who donate $20 or more (which is the price of a Platinum BFSC anyway).

Nice to see Carlton running second on this Essendon initiative. Good thing about Carlton is that nobody can say that we're ever not contributing to good causes even if they are those that belong to our fiercest rivals.

Good work.

One relatively minor gripe that I have with what BigFooty is doing is this;

So Essendon, whose initiative it is get the memberships? I honestly believe that the memberships should go to random people who donate. Much fairer. Having said that, still a great initiative.

Given the way Carlton is going, I'd say that you're a very good chance to get the memberships. Essendon's had a huge headstart, and you've almost reeled us in. Honestly, I'd be surprised if Essendon won.

And that's only 5 of the 25 memberships. The other 20 are given out entirely at random.
