Calling All Cats Supporters

As some of you may have heard, I've been telling in certain school related threads about a Society And Culture Personal Interest Project (PIP). I've chosen to do it about AFL Supporter stereotypes.

Now it's starting time really soon, so I'm looking for individuals to help me with this. Geelong Supporters to help me with what they all think a Geelong supporter really is, what they think of the stereotype assigned to them by other clubs and what they perceive to be the stereotypes of other clubs. If any other club supporters stuble across this message, please help too!

Now, this is serious, so no trolling please!

All help will be gratefully appreciated and you can remain anonymus.

Kittenish...you simply HAD to ask for help on stereotypes?? My life's devoted to discrediting the buggers, even fun ones like "AFL fans". The only advice I can offer is to use the board's search function. Geelong's a regional township, so expect a number of denigrating references to "country hicks". That's one stereotype that's somewhat justifiable.

On class, I've heard contradictory references.
To blue-collar opposition supporters, Geelong fans are silvertails.
To white-collar opposition supporters, Geelong fans are moccie wearing bogans.
To Geelong supporters, our club's whichever class we identify with. Of course, I'm generalising.

If I can dredge up any enthusiasm for this loathsome topic, I'll post more. But this ain't my area of expertise.
