I was just thinking, where would Callum go in the draft even though he has done his knee because he was rated very highly

Would of been a top 5 if he were to perform at the Championships this season. Based on talent, previous performance and fitness testing results Bartlett would be a steal anywhere in the late 2nd to early 3rd round.

wouldn't suprise if wells jumped early and grabbed him. always seems to go left field withs picks

yeah, coming highly rated with his pace and skills Wells could go out of left and use our first or second pick on him...

his gone for Mackie with 7 or 8 when he was just playing school footy and also got Varcoe at around 5 when he was injured all year with the broken foot..

Just a typo I think T. 15 was still pretty high for a lame player so who knows what Wells will do

Lions will probally snare him at 27 if Ball is gone considering we a in desparate need of a player like him. Rich Redden and Bartlett would go well together in the midfield. Would remind me of Black, Lappin and Power! Does anyone have any footage? Also what foot does he kick with. My comments are only based on other peoples views on him that's it!

geelong will either pick him up with their second pick or he should go early third.

third round? why not top 20 a la swift last year, remembering he was out for two years too.

i haven't seen him but if he is that good, first rounder surely in this draft.

The difference between Swift and Bartlett is big in terms of performances. Swift dominated the U16's and Vossy called him the best 16 year old he saw ever, Bartlett had a good 2008 TAC season, but not as good as Swift. Swift also was fit for draft camp and pulled some impressive results up to show he had got better from his knee reconstruction, I don't know how Bartlett did, but he was not top ten in anything like Swift was.

Bartlett is still undergoing rehabilitation from his injury, I'm not even sure if he did all the tests.

The only thing i see pushing Bartlett higher is the lack of depth in this draft. While his not rated as high as Swift at the time of his injury he could find himself being picked up in the second round given the lack of depth through the draft.

Swift would have been worth the risk of a first round pick in this draft.

From the sounds of things bartlett is a very good player just got injured in the wrong time of the year so i would like if richmond use one of there 3rd round picks on him.

And does anyone have any footage on him from before he got injured.

No different to Mitch Golby at Gippsland. Both their fates are in the hands of the physios and who's prepared to chance their recos. Although Golby did show heaps of talent right up to his injury at VIC Country trials

for sure. saw some footage on afl site. very exciting. super quick and with a racking left foot kick on him as well which is travels low and fast through the year ala daniel rich

be happy with using one of our 3rd round picks
