If we were to trade for a draft pick I'd much prfer it to be 7 or 8 as we could get a Henderson or Rance, 2 people that would it in very well, particularly the latter.

I don't know anymore with the strength of this draft, but I would have done it last year, if the club decides to rebuild then this trade isn't too bad.

I don't think we will trade Bruce. He isn't the hardest player out there, nor is he the most skilfull, but he knows how to find the footy and we can use him in a variety of positions. I'll be interested to see how Bailey uses him next season and where he plays him. He indicated that he wants to push Bate and Dunn into the middle... could we use Bruce on a half back or half forward flank?

Naturally everyone has a price - if we got offered a good deal (2 Top 15 draft picks or a Top 15 pick and a good player) then sure, trade him away, but I don't think that will happen.
