Whats Mooney's story? - he has apologised, been fined and blah blah blah but after returning from 2 suspensions in a row just about goes and get himself reported again by headbutting his opponent.

I am not saying it was reportable but it wasnt far off - why would he put himself in that position.

I think a performance based contract is the way to go with Cam Moron next year - just s stupid player wasting his potential and our time.

He plays his best footy at CHF. He is most effective for the Geelong Footy Club at CHF. Thats where he should be.

I really don't understand why he started as the loose man in defence. Seemed like Geelong were in a negative state of mind from the start.

I TOTALLY agree! Maybe it shows that Thompson doesn't have much faith in the players or something. Going defensive right from the start isn't going to win games IMO. Atleast I could tell that some sort of coaching was going on for once. LOL

I agree. He would be a very handy on-baller, but we can't play him there as we don't have any forwards.

If he lives up to half of what's been said of him he should do alright. Put it this way - if he does a better job than Playfair, even a slightly better job, it should be sufficient. Having a competent CHF is sufficient if you have a midfield that's regularly winning the ball (which Mooney would ensure) and a good FF (Ottens can do the job as long as he gets decent delivery).
