Cameron Ling

I'm a Hawks supporter and I was at the game on Friday night (Geelong were killed by the umpires).

What is up with Ling? Almost every possession was a clanger. He was out of puff early and couldn't hit a target all night. Is he injured? By far the worst disposal of the night. He stayed on for most of the game, even when it was clear after the 1st quater that he was playing a shocker.

I rated him highly last year, but Friday he was shockingly bad.

Herald Sun had him in Geelongs best in the Saturday paper!!!!!

Anyone know what the story is?

There was no doubt Cameron didn't have his best game on Friday. I, and many of us here on this board agree that Cameron's disposal wasn't so flashy. Cameron was pivotal in the middle for us and also was the main reason Brad Green didn't destroy in the second half like he did in the first. He was still among our best on Friday and I think it's fair to say Cameron is inclined to one shocker every now and then. You're telling me the likes of Buckley, Harvey, West, Ricciuto, Voss and Black have not had one shocker in their career? Cameron is arguably one of the most consistent performers of the past 2 seasons. One game like Friday night's should not get any fan, or football enthusiasts for that matter, worried or concerned.
