OK.

But he did have 2 holding the ball decisions against him close to the eagles goal that resulted in easy conversions.

He was veeery slow.

When he did get the ball in the centre his kicks travelled further vertically than horizontally.

Love him, but he needs to do something. He won't last if he keeps the status quo.

Sprint training or rest is needed for the sunburnt rooster.

you sure that wasnt woja, he is the only one in chapmanmagic35's eyes that gets caught with the ball and makes decisions. it surely couldnt be the great clubman.

Anyone seen Embley's statistics???

Pretty good job if you ask me...

All because we are struggling, doesn't mean we have to take out 'no' positives...

yeah, but two damaging goals from outside 50m with no one near him, i guess lingy got caught napping and his superior pace just didnt kick in.

Ling was useless in my eyes. He looked slow, tired and uncoordinated against the eagles. He didn't look much different in previous weeks. Ling is rated highly. I think we can do better though. We should trade him off as trade bait. I think Geelong should investigate a direct swap to Carlton... Ling for that other slow nugget red head... Big Lance??!??@

Lingy was fantastic - hold ya head up high. Embley gave them nothing except 2 long range goals.

I'm sure Andrew Embley would agree with myself and chapmanmagic35 here when i say Cameron Ling was one of Geelong's respectable performers.

Credit where credit is due everyone....

He has copped a caning from some people on this forum, but I thought his job today on Embley was fantastic.

it couldnt have been that fantastic if embley got in the best!!!

LOL, so TRUE!!

A heap of people around me were disgusted with Ling, especially that holding the ball decision, it was right in front of us..

He looked slow, indecisive and just a bit 'dorky'.

3 mistakes resulted in 3 goals to WC, 2 holding the ball decisions and one where (i think) he handballed it or something across the half back line and gave it to them cheaply, very disappointed in Ling, the cheap possession getter specialist.

I watched the game live on TV (in NSW) and seriously looking at Linga running; kicking the ball etc I do not believe that there is any other side in the AFL that we could trade him to.
I dont know what has happened to him but he has lost all athleticism and I very much doubt that we will see him in the AFL in a couple of years.
Maybe he spent too much time in the gym and it has stuffed him up.
I hope that he can turn it around somehow but you are what you are and his best days as a footballer are gone.

Unfortunately Ling is currently a huge liability. He needs a few vfl games.

Go CATS!!
