11 possessions as a pick 1 in a grand final.

Surely it isn’t working out at Brisbane and clubs start asking the question.

What is he worth? Does he need a fresh start? Who would pay up?

Tore apart his qualifying final before being subbed out.

Think his primed to step up next year, contracted, no way Brisbane give him up.

If he was on the market would give up our current first and F1 without question as well.

I think it’s at the point where if he runs another year like this his value will plummet. Is it time to cash in while Brisbane can?

Hawks, Geelong or St Kilda I can see working.

Would not take him for free.

Absolute garbage.

You would know about dud high draft picks I guess.

Odd thread which is a thinly veiled attempt to bag a young player for not doing much in the GF.

Had his best year for Brisbane this year, poised to explode if he works hard enough. They would be crazy to trade him right now.

But if they do, they can send him to Geelong anytime.

Has all the traits. Needs to do a De Goey and run 10-15 km a day for the next 4 months. It all comes down to how much he wants it.
Pretty much the same feeling If can get fit and impact the game for 4 quarters could be top 10 in the comp. Or look at Hill and he talks about running hard over the preseason

Played Amazingly against us couple weeks ago.

This bloke escapes scrutiny like few others.

If he'd performed this way at Melbourne as a no.1 draft pick we'd never hear the end of it.

He's played over 100 games, averages 12 disposals and just under a goal a game.

Maybe as a 24 year old next year he'll get some media.

I'd expect Brisbane would want to keep him for at least another year, as his stats this season show improvement across the board, albeit small improvements:

I could see Brisbane trading him if a suitable offer came in, however I'd be surprised if a team was prepared to make an offer which Brisbane would accept, as you would be trading on potential and taking a risk.

Mental midget.
Will always be a Gary Rohan footballer.

Pick 1 originally . . . . :drunk:

I think it's also because Brisbane have been top 4 since the year after he was drafted so his lack of progress hasn't really hurt the team. Not many rebuilding teams could afford to waste pick 1 on a player that has delivered so little, but Brisbane seem to have gotten away with it.

I would consider a trade if I was Brisbane. Still worth a late first but value will plummet if he has another so so year. They would be in the best position to judge which way he is most likely to go.

was played as a 3rd/2nd tall even bulked up. think he played his role really well all year. (port final) will move into the mid group soon enough he wants too. going aswell as you can coming from a 12 month knee injury..

He's had 50 games and 2 full seasons since the knee.

Petracca was cut no slack as a young player who missed a year with a knee.

Rayner just goes under the radar.

Even worse, posters claim he's doing OK. It beggars belief.

I think Brisbane just go under the radar a bit in general. Cam would obviously be under internal scrutiny.

Can't imagine us trading him for a variety of reasons.

As a free agent, he will get good offers for 2026 look at Ben McKay.
