Has gone mad this year.

Averaging 23 disposals, 8 marks and 4 tackles a game, he has kicked 15.9 goals and has played a variety of midfield, forward and back roles this season so far. All this after an interrupted pre-season.

Quite possibly the most damaging utility in the league.

I think he took Hird's mantle last year. If he keeps it up for another five years he would have to be considered as one of our greats.
I agree, Im hoping Bruce goes to Hird again tommorow and gives him another bath!

I can forsee a situation similar to Mondays game.

Bruce goes to Hird at the start. Hird goes to the goalsquare. Bruce doesn't wanna follow so Carroll goes to Hird and Bruce takes Carrolls man or they have a rejig of defence.

Same thing happened on Monday with Buckley and he was owned big time by Chopper.

Saw that as well. Was a bit worried when Buckley went to the square, but when Chopper and Bruce worked it out it was fine.
Doubt Hird will play from the goalsquare all day though. They have a decent forwardline in Hille, Lucas and Lovett that will lead out of the square along with Reynolds and Johns.

Another 17 possessions, 7 marks, 4 tackles and 2 goals today.

He and Hird seemed to just let each other run free, there didn't seem to be strong manning up by either player.
