Someone might give him a go as a mature age rookie, can't see anyone putting him on a senior list.

He is a better chance than whoever edited his Wikipedia. I think he'll get picked up, he is more naturally talented than a fair few AFL rucks. I'd definitely prefer him to Graham.

Doubt and if he does the only to clubs that will take is Port or Melbourne... Who else?

Talented? Yes!

Lazy? Assuredly!

Nobody want's a slacker on their list anymore.

He just doesn't appear to want it enough, two time loser so I doubt anyone will give him a 3rd chance.
He was tracking pretty well at Brisbane wasn't he? Hence why you gave up pick 14 (who became Jack Grimes, thanks again!).

If he was travelling so well why was he up for trade? He was number 3 in line, and know we know why - he just wouldn't work hard enough for it.

Did they ever? I think clubs could do worse, rucks are notoriously late bloomers. Wake up call might be what he needs.
Well, he's used up two clubs Gaben, no sign of maturity yet. Look he had a huge chance when Jolly went down, was thrust into the front line - and failed to fire.

Don't get me wrong I don't celebrate his leaving but I can see why its necassary, we have a couple of up and coming ruck prospects in the VFL and he's in the VFL all the time when Jolly is fit so he's just hindering their development without giving a decent option in the AFL.

Well, see, we actually used pick 18 for him, which we upgrade to pick 14 from Collingwood since they wanted him. We then took a punt on Travis "Jesus" Johnstone, which was kind of a C+ grade move.

Doubt Wood will get picked up again, as its said, hes pretty bad after his tap works done, doesnt do the around the field work like similar styled rucks.

Wood's about the only player Graham has beaten at AFL level. :D And when I say about I mean the one and only.

We're ok for rucks, thankyou for your concern though

He will be 26 by the start of the next season, might be getting on a bit, only teams that would pick him up will be looking long term, if he was 23 or 24 then maybe.

Personally I was hoping Collingwood kept him for at least another season as depth. Especially since we delisted Ceglar as well.

There is high hopes down at Collingwood for Jarrod Witts thats for sure. They rate him very highly and he will play a few games next year offering relief for Jolly.

I read somewhere that Richmond we looking at Wood, considering they delisted Browne and traded Graham.

He'll get picked up. Sydney have the grand total of an injury prone mummy and Pyke as ruckmen on their list. If Tippet ends up elsewhere they need another one.

The pies will take a discard as well, maybe not wood but someone like Stephenson, seaby etc.

Too much on the line for the top teams with low ruck stocks to end up stuck with a Lynch/LRT and a second stringer (Pyke) or untried rookie (witts) leading the line for a lengthy period

It's possible, we really don't have a backup "1st ruck" and if Maric went down, we'd probably need to play Vickery there (sacrificing his forward play) or Derickx who probably isn't upto it (and is more a ruck/forward anyway). I doubt we'd be looking at anything more than a rookie pick though (retaking Browne as a rookie is another option).

I wouldn't be upset if North took him as the mature extra ruckman our list probably needs now we've shed Hale and Hamish and Daw and Mabon are still learning.
