Canberra Crowd

Saw game at in Canberra yesterday and was thinking it was in Sydney, whole crowd was basically all in Red....Swans have support everywhere or was it a huge contingent of supporters from Sydney?

They were rubbish and barely made a sound all day. I've seen rowdier crowds at question time.

was at the game
and it did seem about 50% of the crowd was swannies supporters
20% were dees supporters
and the rest were locals who went along just for the sake of footy back at manuka
wich would also explain the lack of noise from the crowd
the federal highway on the way home was pretty chocas with cars with swans scarfs flying out windows, swans teddy bears in the back window and had big swans member bumper stickers on the back
but i think people in canberra go for the swans just for the sake of it because we are their closest team
also our swans reserves head down there a few times a fair few times a year for matches as part of the NSW/ACT league

to true. i drove up from Melbourne.

and general admission is only one section of ground, sitting on grass or standing!

was fun though, and a local footy atmosphere.

Crowd looked pretty decent on screen (albeit quiet). Was it close to capacity?
