I can't wait till we're back on top again. Not just for the sake of winning either but also to show some of those other d**khead supporters what we're made of. All day I see supporters from other clubs giving our team s**t. They call our young players duds, say we have a worse young list then Essedon, kangaroos, fremantle ect. and tell us that we're are a loser team that are going to stay on the bottom of the ladder for. Well personally I can't wait till Gibbs, Murphy, Simpson, Walker, Kennedy, Fev and co destroy these teams in a couple of years. Then we will see who the losers are.

P.P. I'm not talking about all opposition supporters, just some.

Great point, and one that I have been making for some time here. Going through the tough times (2002 - 2005) will make the good times be all the more sweeter.

Bluegal1983, i have to agree with you. Our 17th will be a whole lot sweeter than our Sweet 16th. I was watching it on video the other day. They were a champion team. Braddles, Sticks, Dean, Madden, Sexton, young Kouta.

However number 17 will be incredible. We have watched these kids go through horrible times, we will continue to watch them grow and develop as both players and people, and I can;'t wait to cry happy tears when we hear that song played at the MCG in a few years time.

IT is going to be a beautiful day when that happens. Only question is, who will the captain be holding up the cup? I have a feeling it's Murphy, with Walker second on stage to join him, a la Ben Cousins and Judd this year

its one of the things ive really noticed since joining these boards.Im a die hard supporter,and bein south oz,thats tough.I know we're sh it,but give a fu ck,they are my team.Ill take all the cr ap you can give me,yup,bring it.Whats that?Fev throwin punches again?I dont care,he won the Coleman,he can do what he wants,and youd love him on your team!Its all that sort of crap that weve put up with for the last few years thatll make it even sweeter when we win the whole flipping thing!

Tend to agree. The next few years are going to be sensational. We are amassing real quality now, and we won't squander our opportunities like the Saints did. Watching Murph, Gibbs, Walker, Simmo, Blackwell etc in the midfield, with Setanta, Bower in defence, and Fev, Kennedy, Waite, Fisher, and Eddie up forward will be fantastic. Early days, but I'm finding it hard to cap just how far we can go next year, if everything clicks. Massive upside. I'm also anticipating some success with non-Gibbs draft picks. Watching Denis, you can sense he's finally got the quality he's been after. Just can't wait for season 2007. Lot's of payback to be done.

Ive said it before Ill say it again, 14 wins next year. (no point in arguing the point you can find it argued all over big footy). We may not do all that well in th e finals, but well be there. Last to top eight.
