Cos he has an attitude. I worked with his brother for about 6 months a few years ago and Caolen is a little a**hole. Is an ok footballer without being outstanding, tries to look good to often instead of playing the percentages.

Found this an interesting comment.
From what I have seen he is not flashy at all, just does the grunt work. Then again, apart from the Champs and seeing him in action in the Western Border Footy League - I probably cant say too much. I haven't seen how he goes in the SANFL.As for been an a**hole, I think most 17 year old kids have an a**hole streak, because at that age you are all about yourself. I'm sure in an AFL environment that cockiness would be drilled out of him. Anyway, we might never know!

He's a hard-at-it player with good skills. Did pretty well in his few league games last year, standing up to bigger and older players when needed.
As for being an **hole, his manner has always been excellent on the many occasions I've seen him.
He was probably seen as a bit slow in a very strong draft. Most other years, I think he would have been drafted.
