Thought I'd get it started...

This week I would put the house on Libba or Griff to put on a clinic against the Bears...

I have neither so I will go with Ward as a sneaky VC to avoid the Jelwood sheep truck!

C - same as always...

yep, as soon as I saw Doggies vs Lions I got excited

Libba VC, Ablett C for me

Either that or Ablett VC, Pendles C. Depends on whether I want to roll the dice.

yep but carlton are VERY different team at present

As opposed to Geelong? Bloody hilarious that everyone thinks that Geelong will romp it in against Carlton because we lost to Brissy, yet Geelong are coming into the game off the back of a 110 point thumping and quite frankly been shiezehousen for the last month. Carlton were 4-1 from their last 5 until the weekend, where pretty much nothing went right for them in the last 1/4, no excuse for losing, but had quite good form leading into the game. Carlton always match up really well against Geelong and I'd back Murphy to score 150+ over SJ or Jelwood that's for sure. Carrazzo to do a number on SJ will be lucky to score 75. Bookmark it.

We'll see.

I have to laugh at people licking their lips at Bulldogs players going huge this week because they're only playing Brissy, when the Doggies themselves are ****** shit and they lost to Carlton who lost to Brissy. :rainbow:

Libba is still scoring well though. Let's not play the x beats y game. I never rated us that highly this year always thought we'd finish 10-12, that may have been an overestimation. We had opportunities to win against Adelaide and Essendon and that Carlton match was our most pathetic performance of the year so far.

How much Libba score against Carlton's rabble? Oh that's right an almighty 76 points.

That's an aberration. We were down across the board that day.

One point more than Furphy scored against the "Melbourne rabble" :p

Actually it was 72 points for Murphy against the Dees and 75 against the Crows

That's my whole point though! People here seem to think a player will go huge just because their team or SC player is playing against percieved weak opposition. I mean FFS you know better than anyone that the only team to keep GAJ to less than 20 possies in 3 & 1/2 years is the Dees when they were beyond shit. Quality of opposition really doesn't translate to extra points as far as premo's go for the most part. If anything true premo's score against tougher opposition (or teams that don't tag) Really, people should be looking at their SC premo's possible direct opponent rather than the team they're playing.

I don't understand how 2-3 gun players getting big scores against unaccountable one way specialists in Brissy automatically can't happen because team x lost to team y. Libba will go enormous this week - bank it.
